Terms of Service

Welcome to Loomance ("the Software", "the App"), provided by HumansAI Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Loomance, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

1. The Software

Loomance is a desktop application for Windows and Linux that runs on your own computer and uses your own NVIDIA GPU to generate AI-driven video animations from a source image you provide, via a locally installed ComfyUI backend and associated models.

Loomance does not generate the source image, host your content, or process any renders on our servers. All rendering happens on your own hardware, and your images and prompts stay on your computer. An internet connection is required to start the app (for example, to check your plan status and display ads).

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Loomance on your own devices for personal or commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or your license key;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent permitted by law;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent advertising, watermarks, license verification, or usage limits.

3. Free Use, Ads, and Founding Supporter

Loomance is free to use and is supported by advertising.

• Free: No payment required. Free use includes video advertisements shown while you use the app, a limit on the number of queued render jobs, and, on platforms where video ads are not available (currently Linux), a watermark on rendered videos.
• Founding Supporter: An optional paid plan that removes ads and watermarks and raises usage limits, as described on loomance.app at the time of purchase. It is billed as a recurring subscription through our payment provider (Stripe); the price and billing interval are shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time, and your Founding Supporter access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. The app checks your license key with our servers to confirm your plan is active.

We may change features, limits, or pricing. Price changes apply to future billing periods only. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

4. Your Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Any source images, prompts, or other content you input into the Software;
• Any output (video/animation) you generate using the Software;
• Ensuring you have the necessary rights to any source image you use (e.g., not using copyrighted material you don't own or have rights to use).

You agree not to use Loomance to generate content that is illegal, infringes on the rights of others, depicts real identifiable individuals without consent, sexualizes minors, or otherwise violates applicable law. We do not monitor, host, or have access to content you generate locally, and we disclaim liability for outputs you create.

5. No Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. Rendering performance depends on your own hardware (GPU, VRAM, drivers) and is not guaranteed.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HumansAI Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to loss of data, hardware issues, or content generated using the Software.

7. Third-Party Components

Loomance installs and relies on third-party open-source components (including ComfyUI and associated models) to function, and displays advertising provided by a third-party ad network (Liftoff). These components and services are governed by their own licenses and terms. We are not responsible for the behavior, availability, or licensing terms of these third-party components beyond our integration of them. How advertising and payment data are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license or Founding Supporter access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Software at any time.

9. Eligibility

The Software is intended for users 18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are under this age, you may use the Software only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
